Briefing

This month we are playing Puppy Cannon. The objective of Puppy Cannon is to complete all three of the numbered sequences in the shortest time possible. The numbered sequences are:

Black circles – Can be taken either 1-2-3 direction or a-b-c direction,

White circles - Can be taken either 1-2-3 direction or a-b-c direction,

White squares - Can be taken either 1-2-3 direction or a-b-c direction.

The sequences themselves can be taken in any order. If you do one sequence 1-2-3, you can do a-b-c on another sequence. Each sequence is separate, so you can mix up the directions for whatever suits your path. However, the obstacles in each sequence must be taken in order in flow, for example: You cannot do 2-3-1. You also cannot take the backside of the obstacles; for example, you take 1-b-3.

The dog starts at the opening of the middle pipe tunnel (the Puppy Cannon) and returns through the cannon (either direction) after the performance of each sequence, including the last one. Time stops after the performance of the final pipe tunnel. So: pipe tunnel, sequence, pipe tunnel, sequence, pipe tunnel, sequence, pipe tunnel.

Standard course faults apply. Any faults are added to the dog’s time to determine the score.

Examples:

If obstacles are not taken in flow, that would be a wrong course.

Dog starts one sequence, but the dog does the tunnel or an obstacle from a different sequence before finishing the sequence started. That is a wrong course.

If the dog drops a bar on a jump that is used in more than one sequence, give the fault once. On the next performance, the dog can merely run through the stanchions.

Scoring:

Puppy Cannon is scored Time, Plus Faults.
